How Jalen works
His approach creates a supportive environment where clients can explore challenges without being defined by them. Jalen believes clients do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy; being ready for something to change can be enough to get started.
He believes therapy should be centered on the individual. His approach is person-centered and built around each client’s strengths, experiences and goals, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, strength-based work, Family and Marital Therapy and trauma-focused approaches as they fit.
